With storage capacity of up to 1.6TB (2:1 compressed; 800GB native) and data-transfer rates of 240MB/s (2:1 compressed; 120MB/s native), LTO Ultrium data cartridges serve the needs of network servers, enterprise computers, and other demanding environments. And Fujifilm's advanced tape technologies, including its innovative servo-writing and NANOCUBIC technologies, translate into solid reliability as well as high performance.

LTO Gen 4 systems will introduce for the first time to midrange tape storage the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit encryption algorithms to keep data secure. The hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption capability of the new Gen 4 format offers higher level of security during storage and transporting of sensitive information.
